Designed from the ground up with Yuki Kawamura’s design concept, the “UNPRE ARS LOW 2 RT” will be released in stages. The shoe will debut with an advance release on June 1 at ASICS Flagship Harajuku and ASICS Osaka Shinsaibashi, followed by a release on the ASICS Online Store on June 2, and a nationwide rollout at sporting goods stores beginning June 5. The suggested retail price is ¥19,800 (tax included).
This product is a special edition of the “UNPRE ARS LOW 2,” the model worn by Yuki Kawamura.
Inspired by the concept of Kawamura’s “origins,” the overall design features a nostalgic colorway based on Benikake-sorairo, the hue of the evening sky he would see while practicing shots day after day at a basketball hoop built by his father in their home garden.
The graphic on the heel is designed to evoke sunlight filtering through the trees in the garden.
On the tongue of the upper, there is a print symbolizing Kawamura: “Past efforts, future brilliance,” and on the heel, gold embroidery representing the Japanese flag and Yuki Kawamura’s signature are featured.

It traces the roots behind his journey—the effort, resolve, and family bonds that fuel his play today—and captures a point guard who continues to forge new routes toward the future. At this event, we will accept the earliest advance reservations for the special edition nationwide. In addition, visitors can take part in interactive experiences created together with attendees, including the opportunity to record a message video for Yuki Kawamura.
